Southdown Cottage, totally self-contained. provides you with an entry to an original historic Southern Highlands property and just 2 minutes drive to the centre of Bowral.
The cottage has been lovingly restored from its days as a bunk house for children when "Southdown" was run as a riding school from 1920 to 1960.
It has a queen bedroom with ensuite upstairs over looking a long pond, hedged cottage garden rooms of roses, camillias etc.
Downstairs has a twin single bunk room with ensuite for the children.
There is a full kitchen, lounge - dining area with a window seat to sit and watch the colourful birdlife.
Southdown Cottage will give you with a most relaxing and memorable stay.

For those who would like a weekend in the Southern Highlands, to relax and enjoy the local attractions, this delightful house would be ideal as a home from home. It is set on a sheltered hillside, a 7 iron from Moss Vale Golf course, in an attractive, north-facing garden with ample parking.
The house has three large bedrooms with lovely outlooks, two with queen beds and built-ins, and one with two single beds. The separate dining and lounge rooms and the entrance hall have polished floorboards and are beautifully furnished. A sunny, well equipped kitchen and the dining room open onto a huge deck which overlooks the garden, and there is a separate laundry.
Restaurants, vineyards, fashion boutiques, antiques and book shops are all within a short drive from the house as are country walks.
